Verity

A Damien Hirst sculpture at the mouth of Ilfracombe harbour. It is striking but also a little earthy and real perhaps. 

The pregnant woman hides the scales of truth behind her whilst holding her sword out high in the quest for justice. This is rather poignant for our times.

Truth is hidden from us in a storm of blatant political and media lies - whilst we can only hold out hope that justice will eventually prevail.

I hope the weather gets better.
