Sandon Memorial

A long drive to Stafford with detours to avoid accidents on the M6. My run was okay until unlucky for some 13 where I got muddled with which control I was going to. I then followed it up with two more mistakes. In a short sprint course you then can not recover. However it was a good start to the weekend and it stayed dry.

Out for a meal at the Dog and Doublet in Sandon. The rain had set in and I was still without a photo. This soldier came to the rescue commemorating Sandon estate workers who lost their lives in the First World War.
