Almond Blossom Season

The Almond Blossom Festival in Neustadt-Gimmeldingen was last weekend, but I choose not to go this year (more people than blossoms).
But I went today, along with a friend (more blossoms than people).

The pink looks fantastic and they smell sooo good. I'm quite certain the pink will be there for another week or two and I might go again next week if I get bored with the grey at home during my holidays.

It took me 45 minutes to get there with the train (you can't beat that with the car). If you like wine and ever fancy visiting the Vorderpfalz, do it around this time of the year (you will need to book early).

It started to rain when I hopped back on the train to go home.
Everything done just right.
