Home again!
Luke and I did eventually get home very late, it was about 11.30pm (Swiss time) when we walked in the door so it had been a very long day. Thankfully (due to me having a British Airways gold card as a result of Gavin's frequent flying) we were able to relax in the lounge at the airport and have supper there. He coped fine on the plane and was able to stretch his leg out under the seat in front of him - as he cannot bend it at this stage. The staff on the plane and at the airport were fantastic, and being in a wheelchair is one way to zip through the security and passport control queues!
We went to bed and did not wait up for Adam who arrived from Cambridge at 1am (he keeps strange hours and does not fit into any normal household schedule). So this morning when I woke up it was wonderful to have all three boys under one roof one again, we have not experienced that since new year's eve! I had to celebrate the occasion by taking a photo of the boys eating their lunch. Gavin and I had already eaten lunch, this was at about 3pm - as I said, Adam keeps odd hours which then affects the others!
Its a real miserable day today, it has not stopped raining and the garden is getting so water logged. The river down in the village looks as if it is about to burst it's banks. Definitely a day for staying indoors and relaxing. Luke is being careful, resting and icing his leg to try and get the swelling down.
