Blinking cold but beautiful

Ice on the puddles on the way to the beach this morning and frozen sand. I really felt the cold today but I hadn't slept well and was tired so not feeling the glory so much today. A shame because it was a beautiful morning. Forecast is good for the weekend so looking forward to delightful dipping!
I loved the regular diagonals of the waves lapping up the beach and there was a lovely pink sky as I walked the dog afterwards.
