Avoiding calamity

Early in the summer I was up on this deck  at the bach, cleaning windows and washing down the walls when I went (partly)through the fibrolite decking! I skinned my shin and gave myself rather a fright. We found that some of the joists had rotted over time so the builder is now here removing rotten timbers and double strengthening the joists before renewing the decking anf restoring the balustrades.
