Lorry load of beef ....

A stressful one today. The lorry in at 7.30 to collect the 40 store blks for the sale at StBoswells. The usual odd ones that were not keen to load, but we got there eventually. An added bonus was that we didn't need to tow the lorry in or out this time !
They all behaved in the ring today and are away to various homes from Aberdeen to Northumberland, to Yorkshire.
The trade was steady with the average price being exactly the the same as the same sale last year .
A quick visit to my mechanic pal to collect spares then on to Kelso to return a diesel filter for a tractor that didn't fit , then back up the road to catch up on all the things still to do after a day away. No rest for the wicked !
