We live in a little cul de sac where they have been building retirement flats next door for nearly two years. Let’s just say there were a few hitches along the way. We are on the last bits including car park surfacing with lots of tarmac. Inexplicably they decided to pile it up in the middle of the road so that none of us could get out. You can see TSM remonstrating with the hapless site foreman on the left.

Amazing really. I mean we are only a dozen households but there is a fair mix including people with young children. We don’t much care for being trapped.

Rant over. Today was mostly about getting ready for tomorrow - looking forward to it ...
