I've had a pretty good week and although I've taken some pictures, I haven't looked yet and won't fill in the gaps.
Today started really well, the most beautiful morning in the park, Tommy had a little romp with some other dogs. I then walked into town to pick up a pair of jeans I've taken to be repaired. I'd made an appointment at the hairdresser, just for a wash and dry as I can't lift a hairdryer yet.
The afternoon saw us back at the hospital. First for the physio. I expected to get a kicking as I haven't done the exercises regularly so I was really happy when she said she was impressed with my mobility at this stage and that I do not need any physio sessions.
I was feeling very positive when we went to see the consultant (not the surgeon who operated), overly optimistic it turns out. Not only was the lump they went in to get three times the size the images predicted, there was a second lump not previously identified. Both have been removed but I now need further surgery as the margins are not clear. To say I am overwhelmed is an understatement. I'm in shock, possibly more than the first time round.
We got fish and chips for tea but I couldn't manage much. I'm wrung out and need to go to bed.
