Oil On The Path

It was wet this morning - a bit of a change from yesterday.
wet enough to be a 2 towel walk ...... both of them for PD. The boy is a sponge!

When we were out shopping later SWMBO bought some roses - so I stole one for a few minutes and did some close-ups, some more conventional shots and a couple of full length shots, complete with dried out tulip petals. I think I like this one best.

After lunch it was a bit drier so I took a camera out with me. The small lens was on the infrared camera so that is the one that came out with me (easiest to slip in a pocket).
When I saw the oil smears on the path I thought of Dennis and wondered how it would look in infrared (nothing like this - it is a mix of 'as shot' and channel swapping).
I did some blurred tree shots and then thought I would try spinning the trees - but I think this one might be a bit extreme.
Maybe I should just stick to lichen.

I slept quite well last night but the eyelids are feeling really heavy. Maybe I will have a Grandad nap before dinner.
