Kale

Last spring I sowed some kale and it's turned out to be the best outdoor veg I've grown for years. We started harvesting it later in the summer and have been picking it every since. I think the variety is 'Starbor', which can be planted close to get more but smaller plants, as well as at standard spacings. Now it's starting to go to seed, and would probably throw up huge flower spikes, although I'll need to clear the plants before then to make way for this year's veg. The taste and texture are excellent, so I'll be growing it again this year. It's not that photogenic, but the flowers can't hog all the blips...
