trompe l'oeil

I love a bit of 'trick of the eye'.

This sort of one is in Kings Cross - a notorious area of London that is in the process of being gentrified. I don't especially object to gentrification as such, but I do wonder what happens to all the rough edges that are being smoothed away.

Some of those 'rough edges' are people and small businesses, I imagine that they have been displaced or priced out...hope not.
