Spice girl

I do admire the foodie images of fellow blippers - I'm not sure what constitutes a great 'food blip', perhaps it's a mouth watering thing?, an "I'd really love to eat that", "I'd love to visit that Country", "That reminds me of my childhood" thing?

On a working at home day not getting out of the house day I turn to the Christmas gift cookery book and with much gusto attack a recipe I've never tried before....

It's not looking exactly like the picture, it smells a bit funny, I am determined not to resort to cheese on toast. I am confident (not) that using a modicum of the world's most expensive spice will help me triumph.
It's not looking good, even the saffron cannot save the aneamic tagine....

The best I can hope for is that I don't poison anyone.
