The 3.30 from Totnes

I went to the South Devon Railway at Buckfastleigh this afternoon. I enjoyed walking around and taking random shots here and there. 

When I'd reached the far end of the patform I heard a whistle and realised a train was coming in. I was in an ideal position and was very pleased when I realised it was coming in chimney first. I've adde an extra of the same shot in sepia for those of you who like the nostalgic look and there are some more I've added to my album here.

It was clear that the grass needed cutting today. I think we might have had it easy with it not growing much because it's been so cold. I knew it was likely to rain tomorrow but I was surprised to find it rained this evening. Good job I got it done!
