Records

We had our regular Sunday morning walk in Emsworth and came across a lovely little independent record shop (see Extra).  It reminded us of our younger days when we bought records, and tapes.  I remember every Saturday morning I would visit the record shop to see what new songs had been released.  It was with great excitement I would come home and play my new purchases.  The weather felt mild so it was pleasant to be outside.  

The rest of the day involved feeding Andy's Mum's cat, food shopping, weeding the garden, and discussing the care system in England and how care is funded.  I've been a bit shocked by the extent to which the state takes control of all your finances.  

This evening we are trying to keep in line with British Summer Time so our dinner is in the oven and we are looking forward to the lighter evening.  Hopefully I will get my broad beans and peas sown this coming week - although I hear snow forecast for some places!   I hope you have all had an enjoyable Sunday.  Best wishes to you.
