The dropped stitch

Breakfast view

Up early to fit in a look at J's tree plot and the new polycrub which is half-made, a visit to L next door AND breakfast.
9am meter reading for me and a polytunnel day course for J.

My helper for the afternoon was Mason, age 8. (It was his turn for 'time on my own with Nana'). He became chief SatNav operator and watcher for house names and numbers, and was very good at it!
After work we decided we were really way too hungry to drive home and treated ourselves to tea out in Lerwick - a curry.
A long, but very happy day.
