Sunshine! Walked miles and miles today. Top Tip! Cracking lunch at the Dick Vet bar behind Summerhall on the Southside of Edinburgh. Fish Finger sandwich chips slaw etc etc. Awesome. Beer ! Barney's Volcanic IPA - super tasty beer, brewed on site. This place is a hidden gem, great menu.

Extras - New school open day, Boroughmuir High School. Not too exciting outside but inside ...wow! Almost made me want to go back to teaching. They have a football pitch on the roof for goodness sake!

And loads of stairs. Stairs everywhere. That'll give the porky little bloaters a work out.

Went to Stills Gallery - they really have lost their way. What a pile of old pants. In fact a pile of old pants would have been more interesting.

Onto Close gallery in the new town. Amelia Allen. A young photographer, beautiful printing. Lots of willies and bums and lady bumps, but I liked the prints. The gallery also gives away quality pens for free! Take a carrier bag.
