buying lovely cheese, olives, bread (by weight) and salami from varoous market stalls. Also a scarf made from bamboo fibres.

Treviso old town is interesting including a number of canals, and wonderful architecture, above is a picture on the wall beside a canal. If you look closely at the extra showing mostly white buildings there are three people in waders in the water, later we came across more of them, we were left to surmise....
