Christine C-7

I think my extra image of a zebra jumping spider with its prey of a pollen-covered fly twice its size is much more interesting than my blip pic. However "Christine" Coccinella septempunctata (C-7), the very common seven spot ladybird, is more blip friendly. :) Lots of arachnophobes on blip.

These aphid munching beetles will be everywhere soon and I'll ignore them, looking for more unusual bugs but I enjoyed my close encounter with this one this morning.

PS Today I think I heard a chiffchaff calling, "Weet" for the first time this year.
