Things To See & Do In Brussels

Nothing to do with and nowhere near the statue, I quite liked the name of this dodgy looking karaoke bar.

As well as the much more famous Manneken Pis, did you know there was a Jeanneke Pis?  That's the female version of the statue.  And there's also a dog version (Het Zinneke or Zinneke Pis).  So, if you like statues with micturition as a theme, you're well catered for in Brussels.  I'll let you google your own views of those.

Last day of the holiday and I made a mistake and booked the train for 12:30.  This meant we had a couple of deathly hours to do nothing except wait.  I usually like to plan things so that we can have a breakfast without stress, finish packing and then just go.  I won't repeat the mistake.

The ICE on the way home was painless.  I loved the fact that it was just one train we had to get.  3 hours later we were at our station.  Super

And now home and the cats are doing that happy to see us thing.  With Moot that means sitting in the door to the terrace, with Munni it means howling a lot and then clawing my chair a bit more.

However much fun it was to be away, it's really good to be back.
