Too small to be useful
I took this photo this morning - into a rising and bitterly cold wind - when I came out of the dentist's surgery and began to walk home. It shows the Argyll Flyer at the pier, and I took it to demonstrate what a very small ship the larger of the two Argyll Ferries is. Tied up there, it will have been bouncing about in its own wake as the passengers disembarked via the stern, and it's dwarfed by the grey expanse of the Firth at this point.
Not much of a photo, but after the dentist had performed his mysteries (he's working on replacing a crown that broke off with the tooth inside it) I didn't feel up to much else. My dentist is wonderful, but all that burrowing away in such close proximity to the me that is me leaves that me totally washed out - and there's still the actual crown to fit ...
