Thieving fairies, beware!

According to this blog post, https://www.irishamericanmom.com/2015/04/22/primroses/, a few primroses scattered across a doorstep can protect against thieving fairies or faeries. Irish fairies can be mischievous creatures. I always liked the sound of the Brownies, those elemental beings that sneak into the house in the morning and do the housework!

Busy day today. I walked up and down my One Street, but didn't dally to take a photo. This one is from the cemetery's rather limited collection of wild flowers. We're still in the territory of hard winter frosts.

I built an improved skittle alley this morning, at nursery, but the child who likes skittles wasn't there, and the others trashed it. Ah well, there's always next Tuesday!
