Today was my first real hike of the season. I couldn't take Salem because it was too long. It was almost too long for me too! 

I went to Wallace Falls St. Park which has some beautiful falls to climb up to see. Since I've seen them before, I decided to hike to Wallace Lake instead (pictured). There was no snow up to Wallace Lake but I went a bit further to the next lake and had to tromp through some snow but fortunately not very deep (extra). Ended up being a bit over 10 miles. No blisters is a very positive ending. Trails and weather were simply perfect.
