Musée des Confluences

Today we decided to visit the Confluence district, the area of Lyon where the Rhône and the Saône rivers meet. This building, the Musée des Confluences, is part of a big urban regeneration scheme going on in the area. It's a very impressive piece of modern architecture and has a viewing terrace at the top from which you get a great view of the point where the waters come together (see extra).
