A day of pootering about; fine and sunny it was. So I got up that slope to nip the ruderals in the bud.
And slapped wood filler on some boaty part - buyer beware ‘n’all that.
Then off to see Sweet Country at the Filmhouse. A really fine film, nicely paced, deeply felt.
I see Trump is complaining on Twitter that the investigation headed up by Mueller is full of democrats and has ‘zero republicans.’
And yet Mueller is a longtime Republican, was nominated as FBI director in 2001 by a Republican president, George Bush, and was appointed special counsel by Rod Rosenstein, the Republican whom Trump picked to be deputy attorney general.
See, that’s worth tweeting back, isn’t it. That’ll show the plum. Tomorrow I shall sort out Putin.
