A Take of the Tongue

Every time I get this shot of a snowy egret or a blue heron...I want to grab that thing. I want to reach into the beak, and just grab that thing.

It was very cloudy this morning, and the gray backdrop wasn't too good for taking pictures, so I was glad when this egret opened its mouth.

I put one picture into the Extras. Two pelicans having a tug of war over some fish scraps. While the pair of puerile pelican pugilists pulled and tried to pulverize...a daring seagull dove in for the steal.
