Stakes!

There is a window of opportunity this week, assuming the weather doesn't become too foul.  Among the maintenance jobs at the Lodge is putting down new boards along the sides of the paths.  The others have been there 14 years and have finally collapsed.

Periods of time when there are no guests and the weather is reasonable are few and far between.  Today dawned bright and clear with temperatures above freezing!  So it was "go for it".  Most of the day was spent out in the garden and work progressed fairly well.

The problem with such a busy day is that blip opportunities are few and far between.  I did take some shots of the miniature Daffs and the Crocuses (Croci?).  Then the stack of stakes to hold the boards in place caught my eye.  I don't often do abstract shots but there was something about the pattern the ends made.  So this is my blip.
