Lister Mills, Bradford

Also known as Manningham Mills.
There was quite a bit of snow remaining in Hebden Bridge today although the roads were fairly clear - except the one I wanted to use - HB to Keighley.  Still closed.
I had planned to visit Bingley again to try to get a photograph of the Five Rise Locks in Snow.  No chance - so went to Bradford instead.
This Blip is taken from Undercliffe Cemetery and shows what a dominant building the mill was.  Once the largest silk factory in the world, it employed 11,000.  Now being developed as luxury apartments.
My extra is a more atmospheric Blip of Undercliffe, the Necropolis of the
Dead.
