Rheingau

Today we arrived in Assmanshausen-Rudesheim on the River Rhine in West German to spend the rest of the week with our friends who live here.

This is the view from our bedroom window and where we have just done a circular walk through the vineyards overlooking the Rhine.

It has been a very cold day with minus temperatures and there is still a small settling of snow around.
