Cricket on a Snowy Saturday

A relatively quiet day as it has been a busy week. The snow arrived this morning, it was was coming down quite hard at points and with the wind, making it hard to see where I was going as I took a morning walk around the village. We popped out to do some shopping before lunch, then spent the afternoon reading and talking. Andy's son, is staying with us for the weekend so it was nice to catch-up.

My sister was in touch with this picture of my nephew at cricket practice this morning. They have just started using hard balls - hence the padding and helmet!
