Fun at the Fair

I'm a beginner photographer and am doing a short evening course to try and learn how to use my DSLR properly. It's a pretty old camera as I couldn't afford a brand new one, but it still does the job!

I took this at a local fair; it was incredibly busy and I hadn't really considered how I would get bumped into a lot, people walking across the shot, etc., nor had I realised how self-conscious I would feel prancing around with my camera! Here I hid behind a tree and tried to get some nice shallow depth of field shots with no disturbances. I was quite pleased with my one good photo from two hours of shooting!
