Hurrah for the birds

Bitterly cold and treacherous underfoot but the roads were quiet and the supermarket wasn't busy.

Back home, and having replenished the bird feeders I sat and snapped away at anything and everything.  Blue tits, great tits, coal tits, long tailed tits, dunnocks, robins, pied wagtail, collared dove, wood pigeons, magpies, thrush, blackbirds, goldfinches, greenfinches, chaffinches and the delightful siskins.

This is the male siskin.

Tomorrow JJ and I are heading up to The Photography Show with Anniemay and Igor, and meeting up with Hildasrose, SHH and hopefully Chantler63 and Chrisphoto. I've sharpened my credit card in readiness.
