LOOKING BACKWARDS

The reason for the trip Mum and I are taking was to visit this lovely gentleman and lady. He was one of my Dad’s best friends and is my sister’s godfather but due to distance we haven’t met up in years.
It was great to chat about past memories and both him and Mum did lots of ...Do you remember when...?
David treated us to lunch in a local hotel.
Unfortunately our visit soon came to an end as we started the long journey home.
Neither Mum and I can quite believe how quickly we got home. Despite the constant flutter of snow the roads were clear and with one brief stop we were home before 7....and the speedometer was happy all the way home.

Thankful for...the chance to step back with happy memories.
