Mam's 60th Birthday
The winds calmed today, but still really cold. There was some sunny spells now and again.
My weekend on in the museum, and the day started really quiet. The afternoon soon picked up, and a steady end to the day. After work I came down with a funny turn, but not stopped me heading out for mam's birthday tonight.
It's mam's last day of being in her 50s, and her 60th birthday tomorrow. A party planned for her in the hall, with plenty of friends and family turning up. Sister Julie and dad have been playing in their band, and also niece Michaela and twin nephews have been playing the accordion. Here's mam, friend Denise Nicolson, her sister Joan, friend Jeanetta Kerr, niece Michaela and my first cousin Leona Grains. Taken in the Cunningsburgh hall.
