Blossoms in the city

We went into Victoria to have lunch and a visit with some old 
friends.  Their daughter, son-in-law and kids are visiting from Toronto, and it's always fun to get together with them.  We've known their daughter since she was a baby - and she recently turned 50!    
It was such a beautiful day.  The blossoms are further ahead there than here, so I took a quick shot of these ones through the car window while we waited to go through the car wash. 
We couldn't believe how much construction was happening downtown.  So much traffic and so busy!  I do like Victoria, though, and if I ever have to live in a city again, I'd choose it over any other.
