SNOWY EGRET
These snowy egrets are so graceful with their long, silky feathers blowing in the wind. According to Wikipedia, the name is derived from ‘aigrette’, which is French for ‘little heron’. Evidently the difference between egrets and herons has more to do with appearance rather than biology.
