An early kick off; the usual Friday OT thing before off up to the school to fetch the lads (brief chat with Alex teacher - he's got a lad pinching and punching him on the sly) and home via the bike shop to pick up tubes and brake blocks.

After lunch we set about fixing the Trek that was abandoned here last year; after making reasonable efforts to track down its owner and failing, we assumed ownership (obviously nicked; flat tyres, gears and brakes shot, chain off) and the plan was to do the repairs over the winter and see if Tom had grown enough to fit onto it. He has! So we set about fixing the punctures and the brakes and eventually took it back up the road to figure out new gear cables. (In the end we just left in Douglas' capable hands and said we'd get it on Saturday morning.

Other than that - peaceful; G off in Glasgow for an audition for a Velux advert; then straight to the theatre for the evening so we were largely redundant on the child minding duties.

So we did laddish things like watched football and ate pizza.
