The rain it fell; we went to pick up Tom's new wheels from Douglas at the bike shop; and then we splashed off to Spartans. Not the best day to carry out the great bike step up but hey....

A cold and wet hour later, we shivered homewards and decided that Ireland v Scotland on TV would be warmer than Stirling v Peterhead; either way there was disappointment, but at least we were warm and dry watching the rugby. (We did briefly pop out to finally return library books and grab hot cross buns for a half time snack)

After a hearty pasta dinner, we went to see her for a couple of hours before splashing home in the rain again (CCC is a godsend) and more football on TV ended the day.
