Llanberis Lake in Snowdonia

Snowdonia today...the fog cleared, a few blue bits in the sky....the mountains looked pretty clear-ish....i.e not totally hidden...

when we boarded the tug train up Snowdon we were warned that the train probably had to turn back because of strong and gusty winds...56 m ph....

so disappointed...but we stayed on and to our huge surprise we went all the way to the top....( the train before us went halfway up...after us one made it to the top, then they closed the station because the wind was 60m ph)

at the top it was foggy so no view at all....and I really didn't dare to take the few last steps to the cairn.....the wind nearly blew me over....but it was FAB to be there....!!!!

sadly no piccies of Mount Snowdon & the trip up....it was tough to shoot through the windows.....maybe when I've edited them when home I can post some in my folio....
