Swallow Falls

we did a round trip from the hotel to Betws-Y-Coed where we stopped off to see the Swallow Falls....very beautiful and impressive...even more so with the amazing autumn colours being displayed on the ground, the rocks as well as on the trees....

you can imagine I had fun trying different settings....but didn't want to hog the viewing platform to long.

After a quick coffee in the hotel opposite ( where I forgot my tripod...thankfully remembered back at the car...) we went on to Capel Curig through the mountains of Snowdonia...a trip down memory lane for hubbie who climbed quite a few of them....took oodles of photos....the wind was very strong and it was bitterly cold

back at the hotel we downed the best egg mayo & cress sarnie ever with a glass of wine in front of the fire.....and read our kindles for a few hours....homeward bound tomorrow.....
