St.John's Lock - Lechlade

This is the first lock on the River Thames ( assuming you start from the source, rather than the mouth ... )

Took this on the way back from the school run, beautiful day, want to go out in the canoe and ignore the pile of work that needs to be done - sadly not to be today, and the weather won't last till the weekend either :-(

I know the theme of today's Wide Angle Wed is "colours" - but heck, this is more than I usually manage, so I'm calling it !
