Once upon a time . . .

. . . in a kingdom filled with enchanted books there was a girl who loved to read.

This is the jigsaw that I started when we were snowed in. I did not start it then because I had nothing to do . . . as if!! It was just that being snowed in seemed like a good time to get out a jigsaw. I have so many other projects on the go, and so many books to read, that I only spend a short time each day on the jigsaw, but I have loved every minute, every piece. It is the most delightful puzzle. Very tricky, but not at all boring. And every piece that clicks in place seems to reveal another bit of magic. A beautiful, exquisitely detailed scene by an American artist Aimee Stewart. There are Blippers who like her work and I can see why. I had hoped to have this on the go when the grandchildren are here at Easter, but it is far too difficult for them at the moment, so I have bought a smaller one that we can have a go at. Meanwhile, I really don't want to put those last pieces in!!
