Survivors

Two weeks ago we were in the grip of icy winds from the east and I feared for the delicate buds on the apricot tree. They survived and are beginning to burst into full flower. The little tree is covered with buds and surely will be a future blip. Last year we had just three apricots, maybe there will be more this year.
It was a bright sunny morning, warm enough to open doors and windows for a while to let in the fresh air. That put me in spring cleaning mood, and N took a trip to the tip. There is a long way to go, both for spring cleaning and visits to the tip, but it is a start.
