Day 13 - New Orleans in the rain

Our last full day here was spent, in part, in different locations. I went on the early morning Swamp Tour; Mrs SoL had her nails done. When I showed her the pictures, she was very happy she had not been along with me; boats and alligators are not her favourites.
The Swamp tour was amazing. Very knowlegeable guide, Captain Bishop, from Cajunadventures.com. No advert from me, but well worth the effort. We saw a variety of critters, including alligators, wild pigs, snakes and racoons. Extra pics cover some of the ones I saw today. The afternoon was spent chilling together before starting to pack our bags. The meal tonight was fantastic. A small restaurant called Luna, with offered me the very best quail I have eaten. Stuffed with boudin. Excellently prepared.
