Misty the Boat....

No, this is not a blurred, out of focus photo (well, ok then, it probably is...) - this is how my canal looked this afternoon. This afternoon for goodness sake, not midnight!

I thought a fortnight's holiday in autumnal Scotland would be a good idea....long walks in the woods....crunching over frosty leaves....watching the low sun shimmering on the still waters of the Highlands.....G&Ts in the log-fired lounges of lovely little hotels....

So far, however, I haven't shifted too far from the sofa, Twining's Earl Grey and wall to wall Maltesers.

I need to get out more.....and so does the sun!
