The Old Forge (Friday 9th March 2018)

Gardening Friday Morning, and the first time in a month that Refna had been able to get into the garden properly. A border was prepared beside the car port that will become my fernery, and a couple of ferns were transplanted to it; a number of snakeshead fritillaries were planted in two beds; and this splendidly-sized new tree fern was installed on the other side of the car port.

Rezillos - I Cant Stand My Baby (1977)
This is the original and superior single version of I Can't Stand My Baby,  found on the Rezillos debut single  (Sensible FAB 1), Sensible Records being an Edinburgh independent label. Following its release the band signed to the American label Sire and a new version appeared on their album (inevitably called Can't Stand The Rezillos).
It was my favourite record in 1977 and I finally have an official version of the single on CD as Flying Saucer Attack - The Complete Recordings 1977-1979 was delivered to me on this day.
