A Foggy Day
We woke up to find ourselves in the midst of a great mist. From our chalet we can normally see the trees, the approach golf course and an endless expanse of sea. This morning we were lucky to be able to see Dylan in the next room. We could see the trees on the edge of the site and that was about it; damp, drizzly, though not cold. Dylan and Ann came back somewhat damp from their early morning walk as I was getting out of bed.
We had to stay in this morning as we were expecting the electrician to come and fit our new shower. David, the electrician, trades under the name of Four Candles Electric Ltd, he also runs the hardware store in Teignmouth called Fork Handles, I'm beginning to spot a connection here ;-)
The shower was eventually fitted after a series of challenges culminating with the use of an industrial angle grinder - don't ask.
As the weather had brightened a little after lunch we ventured down to Shaldon for a walk ending at The Ness for a coffee (for Ann) and a pint of Badger for me.
The picture shows a local fishing boat coming into the estuary chased by a colony of gulls.
