International Women’s Day

Cracker packers celebrated ! This blip was taken off the TV so the quality is not what I want. I  should have gone to Carlisle and blipped the event. The mention of Carlisle could give you a clue about this statue. Carrs biscuit factory is the oldest in the world and the lasses who worked on the production line were called cracker packers 
Unveiled today the statue celebrates working women. And the extra? That's two real live cracker packers!
