A Day Of Two Halves

Lovely dog walk this morning and couldn't resist an attempt to photograph the landscape.

In the foreground the snow had melted and the green fields had returned however, in the distance the sun was breaking through casting a bright light on the snow that was still lying on the ground and mist was floating into the view too. 

Trying to get the exposure right was very tricky and lots of jiggery pokery on the computer to get it looking like this which was pretty much as I saw it.
