The Best Laid Plans
One January, about 20 years ago I planted a rooted Christmas tree into the garden. It's reached the 30 foot stage now and I am planning to have it removed. If it ever fell or was damaged in a storm, the greenhouse and frames are in the line of fire. However, as I watched this lady and her mate carrying nesting material into the tree's midriff this morning, I realised I may have to delay my plans.
Another plan that misfired came to light today. The new bed we assembled yesterday evening for Grandma is too high - lower than it's predecessor but still too high - so another, lower, one has been ordered. I may be attending another Assembly tomorrow! The trials of life are many and varied but perhaps the greatest surround us in our later years. Just glad that we and other family are on hand to help.
